4 Mil Thick Plastic Mattress Bags for Moving Mattress Storage Bag Twin Size 2 Pack - Super Thick

We have a full size mattress that we store in the garage until we have guests that need it. Garages being what they are we have to use a sotrage bag to keep it dust, bug and moisture free. These bags work great but I do wish they had an actual closure for the open end. These are thick and functional. I used these before for the same mattress and decided that after the most recent use, I wanted to swap out the old cover for a new one. I actually buy the size up because I find it easier to put it on and then I also have plenty of extra plastic to tape and seal the open end. Since this is a two pack I should be set for a while. These work for long term storage but if you will be moving the mattress a lot then the bag may not last as long. I only move the mattress once every couple years so the bag lasts a long time. If you have regular visitors that need the mattress then this bag may work as an underlayer and then use one of the sturdier, handled covers over top of it. Read more

I bought the twin xl for moving mattresses for my boss. They were nice and heavy, perfect size and kept the dirt off while moving and during transport. It did get a little tricky to grab the handles on the mattress thru the bag but the bags were loose enough to gather up and still use mattress handle, but don't just grab the bag because it will eventually rip. Otherwise they held up perfect. If I need to move a mattress again I will buy these but if I'm taking one out to trash I will find a lower quality thinner one, though these would work for that too Read more

I like the mill off the plastic, the one thing that was on me was I didn’t pay attention to the fact that these do not have a seal strip on them, you have to find your own way to seal the ends. Other than that, Nice bags they fit with room to spare and mattresses are 13” tall Read more

We just used these to move our mattress and box spring across the country. We bought the 4 mil 2-pack and they worked great. It rained when we unloaded the truck and everything stayed dry. When we selected this mattress cover it was because it was supposed to be thick. We are storing a box spring and mattress in our shed. We were not impressed at all with the thickness of the plastic. It tore easily so that we had to use tape to fix the holes. Next time, I will look for a much heavier plastic. Read more
