I purchased this 4-pack of refillable lighters a little over a month ago for my uncle. I specifically chose this set because they were refillable and appeared to be good quality. For context, I am very familiar with refilling butane lighters. I own multiple refillable torches and table lighters and have been refilling them for decades. I use proper butane and follow correct refill procedure. When these arrived, I assumed they were not pre-filled for shipping reasons, which is understandable. I purchased fresh butane and proceeded to refill them. Every single lighter failed in the exact same way. The moment butane was added, it immediately leaked back out through the vent. It would not retain fuel at all. I tested all four individually to rule out user error or a single defect. All four behaved identically. None of them hold butane. This is not a minor flaw. These are marketed as refillable lighters. If they cannot retain fuel, they are nonfunctional products. Unfortunately, by the time I discovered the issue, the return window had closed. Lost power in the house due to non payment of bill. These lighters came in handy but quickly realized there is no butane. I had to order butane from Amazon and it will get here tomorrow. So another day in the dark for me. Read more
Really terrible product! Bottom line. One of the four kind-of worked. Two didn't work at all. All leaked, to varying degrees! One even caught fire and partially melted! DANGEROUS! What junk. What a waste of resources. From my experience, I recommend: Avoid this product outright! Read more

We filled the first lighter when we got the pack and it worked perfectly. Flash forward to exactly one month later and today I get a lighter out. Fill it. Use it. Put it in the drawer and when I come home from work my wife has it laying on the counter. It needs filled. That’s strange. I filled it again and I can hear the butane leaking out of the fill area in the back. I check the other two in the box and they both leak as well. Out of the four pack I purchased I can only use one lighter because the other three won’t hold fuel. Very disappointed and I can’t do a return because I’m outside the return window. Read more

These arrive empty and it is impossible to load butane into them. Per instructions, I purchased a can of butane, with long universal filling tip, but the butane won’t load into the reservoirs of these lighters. Instead, I ended up wasting a bunch of butane spraying it all over my hands and the outer handle of two different lighters, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Finally figured out I’m not doing anything wrong (I’ve loaded butane into lighters before — it isn’t rocket science), these are just defective. Don’t waste your money. Read more
The lighters were a good price and shipping was fast. Unfortunately only 2 of the four work properly. Both of the others would not hold the butane. It leaks out very quickly. I reached out to the shipper and Alice responded very quickly. I am being shipped a new set at no charge right away.
