I spent countless hours looking for sweat pants at a reasonable price with little success. Even WalMart wanted 25/30$ pair for winter sweats to keep my legs warm. I took a chance with these and I am very happy. the 'fleecy' interior isn't bulky, the pockets are in the right place and I don't look like miss piggy wearing these to the market. The elastic waist is comfortable and I cut off the ties since I didn't need them. Being barely 5' tall, I usually have to hem ALL of my pants, but the ankles on these are trimmed with stretchy knit fabric that fit perfectly and help keep my ankles warm as well. I haven't laundered them yet, so I have no idea about shrinkage or fading, but I'm very happy with one pair of pants so far. The only complaint I have is that they don't seem consistent in sizing: the black ones seem 1/2 size larger and bulkier than the blue ones. I'm 5'5" and 150 lbs. I had been wearing a Medium until I had 2 hip replacement surgeries last year. I'm now wearing a Large in most clothes due to weight gain, especially in the butt/hip/thigh area. These sweatpants are good quality at a good price. I would say they're a medium weight fabric and the fleece is very soft. My only problem is that the butt/thigh areas fit a little too tight with the Large. The cut of the sweatpants are a bit on the slender side which also makes the front abdomen area bunch up a bit and not lay right on me. Update: I returned the Large and ordered Extra Large, and here is the feedback. They are fairly baggy and loose through the butt, hips & thighs, much more so than the large. The large comes across as a more slender cut, and the extra large overcompensates quite a bit with more fabric. The extra large still leaves a bit of bunching in the abdomen area and they stretch a little after wearing. They are 100% acrylic so are starting to pill a bit after only 2 washings. Overall, I’m giving these four stars as they are decent quality and very comfortable. I'm just wearing these around the house vs. returning them. Bottom line is… I’m between a L and XL. They’re just ok. Material is comfy, fit is fine. But the pockets are suuuper small. They just barely fit my phone and pockets MUST be zipped or it’ll fly right out. Which wouldn’t be so bad if the zippers were smooth and easy but they aren’t. They’re pretty cheap feeling plastic and basically require two hands to zip and unzip. So things in there are secure if they’re zipped but only if zipped and using the zip is mildly inconvenient. Inconvenient enough that they’re heading to goodwill after a handful of wears. These are the only zipper shorts I’ve bought, so maybe this is the standard and I just don’t like zipper shorts 🤷‍♂️ Read more
