These lartch covers are growing in popularity so I wanted to give them a try. These latch covers are flimsy and there are no instructions on how to apply the cheap two-sided tape because the tape does not fit the entire outer diameter of the latch covers. Also, one side of the cover is a little thicker and again no installation instructions. I do not recommend buying these generic covers. Read more

I read the title and decided to order these car door latch covers. My main reason for ordering these is to help quiet the sound of the closing door. They came quickly. Four silicon covers and a sheet with precut double sided adhesive tape. I have to admit that I wasted one of the adhesive strips as there were no specific directions or diagrams. With a little maneuvering, they do sit on and around the door latch. I was a little disappointed as there was minimal, if any, dampening of the door closing sound. I understand that another purpose is to protect the latch. The silicon cover will certainly last a long time so it will accomplish that. As it is soft and can be stretched to fit over the latch base, it does do the job. The black color does match all cars, especially since the latch mechanisms are hidden for the majority of time. For the current listed discounted price of $8.99, it may be a little expensive. It boils down to expectations. Prevent early rusting? Yes. Dampen door closing noise? Perhaps. Esthetics? Eh. I am, however, leaving it installed to see if others see any changes I haven't yet. Read more
These are junk. The double sided tape is a disaster to apply. So thin it breaks if you breathe on it. Very sticky though. Not worth the effort to return so in the trash they went. Rating should be "0". Read more
Does not fit without removing door latch on body. The glue strips are cheap and already torn. They do not work either. Not recommended. Seller needs to be more transparent about install. Read more
