Look nice but plastic is thin
I have mixed feelings on these things. They do look really great and I really like the carbon fiber look. They fit well on my Toyota Avalon. They don’t rattle or anything. Having said that, I do wish the adhesive pad was wider and filled more of the cover so it was a bit more solid feeling. The plastic is very thin so I have serious concerns about the durability which obviously affects the value. The price is ok assuming these things do stay in place. I’ll circle back if issues pop up. Cover up those ugly door strike latches
These latch covers are a sharp looking addition to your car. Though not made of carbon fiber or carbon fiber cloth, the empossed weave pattern looks good. The only thing I would wish for is a glossy finish so it would matches the other carbon fiber trim pieces on my ZDX. Since these are only visible when the door is open it's not a big deal for me. The tape adheres well and should keep these covers on. I did prep the strike latches with an alcohol wipe before installing these to clean off any grease or oils that may have been there. Read more
