Good upgrade over the stock paddles, but not flawless

’ve been using these replacement metal paddles on my PS5 Edge controller for about a month now, and they’re definitely an improvement over the stock ones. The first thing you notice is the weight and feel—being metal, they feel much sturdier and more premium in your hands. The rainbow finish actually looks better in person than in the pictures, and it gives the controller a bit of personality without being over the top. Installation was straightforward. They snap into place just like the OEM paddles, no tools required, and they stay secure while gaming. I’ve put in long sessions on shooters like Call of Duty and Apex Legends, and I haven’t had any issues with them loosening or popping out. Functionally, the responsiveness is great. The click feels more solid and less “mushy” than the stock paddles. The only slight downside is that, being metal, they’re a bit louder when pressed, which isn’t a dealbreaker for me but could annoy someone playing in a quiet room. Durability seems solid so far—no scratches or fading on the finish after regular use. They do show fingerprints a little more than the plastic ones, but a quick wipe fixes that. Read more
