1 is bent in 2 different places

OK. So, before I start this review, let me tell you that I can't wait for new burner plates to be exchanged through the mail. Two of mine burned all the way through and the other one has something in it that's catching on fire every time we use that burner. We have eaten take out for 3 nights now waiting for these to show up. They are all highly polished. They look great for the most part. However, they were shipped in one of those blue and white Amazon bags and one of the larger burner plates is bent out of shape in 2 place. It's not sitting flat against the stove because the rim is actually curled back. I can't wait for a replacement set. I just can't. I need to be able to use my stove so we're stuck with this burner plate being out of round in 2 areas. I don't think this is a shipping issue. The rims are actually curled backwards, not dented or bent. But either way, maybe this is something that should have been packed in a box as opposed to shipping bags. Outside of this specific issue, these fit our stove just fine. We have a GE electric stove and it's about 20 years old now. The one wonky burner plate does not sit flush to the stove and it's rocking and moving. That's not something you want to mess with when you have a huge pot of water boiling on the stove that you're taking off. Read more
