The plastic piece is definitely softer than bumping into the wood corners giving some protection to my legs when I walk to close to the corners. It is easy to install and to remove from furniture with minimal residue left on corners. Beware if it is exposed to to much heat from the sun it make fall of itself. They have so far lasted two months on my furniture as long as it is out of direct sunlight. Over all quality has been good and stickiness could be better it exposed to too much heat. Read more
