Top Quality Chair/Floor Protectors
After trying a number of similar products with disappointing results, this product performs exceptionally well. First, I tried nail-on chair/floor protectors with plastic bases that wore off leaving nail heads that gouged my wood floor. Second, I tried glue on chair/floor protectors that fell off over time leaving adhesive on the chair legs and marred the floor. The glue on the floor was difficult to remove. Third, I tried a better grade of nail-on chair/floor protectors that worked better but after awhile left scuff marks on the finish. Finally I purchased this product, which screwed into the previously drilled nail holes. This product has a doughnut felt bottom attached to a plastic base. The screw goes through the doughnut hole and the screw head lodges in the plastic base. The screw head sets below the felt/plastic boarder so if the felt would come off the screw head would not scratch the floor. This product was easy to install. I have used this product for over a year at home on my wood floors and have not had one single problem with this product. These screw-on chair/floor protectors work as well today as they did the day I installed them. A great product! I have been so pleased with this product that I purchased enough to replace the nail-on chair/floor protectors at my church, which has commercial vinyl flooring in the dining area. The better grade nail-on chair/floor protectors that I installed on the church's chairs two years ago left scuff marks on the finish and quickly wore the wax off the vinyl tiles. Last week, I removed all the nail-on chair/floor protectors on the church's dining chairs and installed this wonderful product on the church's chairs. Read more
