This is more useful than might at first appear, as I've had many "magnet" bits that don't actually hold anything. But regardless, these bits will actually hold your screws while you position them to screw them in. A huge time and hassle saver. For the bits themselves, I like that each is marked with the type and size. That is very handy. I did a simple hardness test where I scraped a bit across part of a light switch. The bit scratched the metal surface well with minimal wear on the bit itself. I wouldn't say these are the hardest best available.
