Imy son.uses a 2k to 25k propane forge under one end our 30x12 shelter trying to learn a new skill in making knives, and small metal /blacksmith stuff. So believe me that end often gets pretty hot, as such we ordered and mounted this indoor/outdoor fan to stir the air and cool him off some. It is quite functional, seems very well made, not very loud but it provides much needed air flow and helps 100% with the heat build up, u Der that tin roof. Easy to install and use would be worth ordering more as money will allow for the back, and front porchs, aswellas the carport. Wish it had option for a light kit the wires are there just not the rest. This fan ended up being so perfect for our lanai because we weren’t in the position to have it wired though the ceiling but really wanted something other than the stand fans we tend to bring out there. With this corded fan, installing it was super quick and easy and we just ran the cord down to an extension cord that runs to an outdoor wall outlet. Because our ceilings are low, my husband had to make some modifications to the hanger it comes with because it was way too low otherwise. That’s why I removed a star - it would be nice if it had some easier way to adjust the height. But it’s is a seriously great value for a nice fan that really helps circulate a lot of air and make it way more comfortable for us to sit outside. In fact, we will likely get another one to use INSIDE our house because we have a ceiling that isn’t wired for a fan but could use one there too. This is just a vacation home and we don’t want to spend a ton of money rewiring things. This fam will be a great option for that purpose as well. The remote works well - I attached it to the wall with some Velcro so that we can easily keep track of it. So far we’ve been using this fan for a few months and it has held up very nicely even through rain storms and wind. I have had to reattach the cord to the ceiling a few times, but that hasn’t been the fault of the plug, it’s more the fault of the type of adhesive we were using on our metal ceiling. Read more

This is a 42 inch outdoor ceiling fan with a light. This is IP66 waterproof and this comes with a remote control. This has six different speeds and it's great for a gazebo. This was easy to assemble and is much bigger in size than the previous one that I had that died in less than one summer. This fan has three blades and feels like it's made of a very good quality. This has an LED light that is fairly bright. This is very functional and moves a lot of air. This also has reverse direction and this was easy to install. This hung down and came with everything that I needed in order to install this in my gazebo. This also had its own attachment if needed. This looks very nice and feels like it was meant for the space. The value on this is about what you would expect to pay for something like this. This is a very nice fan. It is powerful, moves a lot of air, and is a good size giving this an expected value in my opinion at the time of this review. Overall, this fan is much nicer than the one that I had previously that died. I am super happy about this fan and this fan was super easy to install. I would have no problems recommending this.
