Versatile 42V charger that replaced my lost e-bike charger. Here's how to use it safely and effectively: Plug Selection Guide: Comes with 7 adapter plugs in different sizes. Measure your battery port before selecting - I used digital calipers to confirm 5.5mm outer/2.1mm inner diameter matched plug #3. Test fit plug gently before connecting power to avoid forcing wrong size. Safety Checks Before First Use: 1. Verify battery voltage: This is for 36V systems (charges to 42V max) 2. Check polarity: Red marking on plug indicates positive center pin 3. Inspect battery port for debris or corrosion 4. Start with battery at room temperature (60-80°F optimal) Charging Process: 1. Plug charger into wall outlet first, then connect to battery 2. Red LED indicates charging, green LED means full/complete 3. Charger outputs 2A current - takes 3-4 hours for a 10Ah battery from 20% to full 4. Unit stays cool during charging (measured 95°F max on case) 5. Disconnect immediately when green light shows to preserve battery health Performance Testing: Charged my 36V 10Ah e-bike battery successfully. Measured output voltage: 42.1V which is correct for 36V lithium systems (10 cells x 4.2V). Current draw measured at 1.8A average, matching the 2A rating. Build Quality: Cable is thick and flexible with strain relief at both ends. Plug connectors are secure - no wobble when inserted. Charger brick is compact (6"x2.5"x1.5") and lightweight.
