This chlorine floater dispenser is exactly what I needed for keeping my pool clean and balanced. It’s sturdy, easy to fill, and the adjustable vents make it simple to control the chlorine release based on the size of the pool. It floats well without tipping or leaking, and the lid stays secure even after days in the water. The material feels durable and should last through the season (if not longer). Great value for the price — does the job with no fuss. Definitely recommend. Read more

It works great. I like the fact that I can regulate the chemicals that go into the hot tub. It does not get trapped in the filter. Read more

Bought two in 2021 and now in March 2026 they’ve cracked, still useable, but are ready to be replaced. The pool experiences weather below freezing and above 100°. Great value for a plastic float. Just bought some more. Read more

These all turn to brittle plastic in our hot summer heat after a couple of years. Works good, none of brands last more than a couple of seasons. This one is just fine no complaints. Read more

So happy to be back to a sturdy, non collapsible float. I made the mistake and ordered one of those that come shipped in a small package because the bottom collapses into the body, twice. After first one failed, I tried another in case I got a bad one. Nope. 1. They didn’t fully lock in place and would collapse on me when adding pucks. 2. The last one couldn’t hold the weight of 4 tabs/pucks. It eventually began sinking and I’d have to grab from pool floor. This one is great. Heavy duty, holds 4 tabs and floats high. Time will tell and I will update my review if anything changes but so far, I’m very happy. Read more

I have owned an outdoor full size hot tub for 30 years now. We use it daily, often twice/day and I typically add granulated chlorine daily to keep things in balance. I wanted to try a chlorine dispenser for those times I was out of town and needed to maintain the chemicals while away. First, I bought a cheaper model a few years ago and it was never precise at "dialing in" the right balance of chlorine for my hot tub. It was a larger basket that could hold 1 inch tabs and these would dissolve rapidly over a few days with higher than wanted chlorine levels in the spa. It worked okay for vacation time, but didn't work well for routine daily use. This new model I bought cost twice as much, but is way more effective and efficient. The 1 inch tabs "stack" inside the column. You expose the tabs to the water by unscrewing the column to open the lower vents/channels surrounding the tabs. I spent a week or so experimenting with different levels of openness and have dialed in a reasonable balance over time. It dispenses the tabs much more slowly than my older (cheaper) basket, thus avoiding high peaks in chlorine levels the first few days. Slower release of the chorine will also save money. With the old basket, I could put 3 tabs in for a week. Chlorine levels were too high on days 2 - 4, and would then drop to about normal by day 7. All 3 tabs were completely dissolved by day 4. This new/better basket has held 3 tabs for over a week, and they are still only half gone. Unlike the old unit, I can actually use this basket as my daily chlorine dispenser and don't need to add granulated chlorine every day like I used to. I highly recommend this product for use in a hot tub. Read more

I have a cutely designed pool tab float, but bought this because we needed a second chlorine float during the summer here in Arizona. I was impressed with how sturdy it was compared to others I’ve ordered on Amazon. The top does twist in but could easily come undone if you throw the floater in the pool upside down on accident. We’ve switched to using this as our regular chlorine tab holder. Read more
