4678 Distressed Ivory 8 x 10 Area Rug Carpet Large New

Okay, I spent a crazy amount of time trying to find a rug that was big enough and pretty enough for our living room. It seems like most of these style of rugs have some red/pink in them, which was not going to look right with the colors in our home. SO, I was pumped to find this lovely gem in more earth ones. Others that were similar in price were printed mats basically, and I just couldn't pull the trigger on those without knowing if they would look right in a space that we use a lot. We have only had this for two days, so I'll have to come back and update if it suddenly falls apart or something. But for now, we are super happy with it. It's beautiful as far as the design goes, works well with our dark leather furniture and the lighter oak floors. It unrolled fine, and the best part - it is SO SOFT. Seriously. We have had other rugs and this is 5x softer than any of them. My kids have literally laid on it half the day playing or watching TV, instead of the couch! I hope it holds up and stays this soft because it sure makes it seem more luxurious than the $150 we paid for the 8x10 size. I like the short but sturdy cut of the actual fibers. This is a GREAT rug- especially for the price! I am so happy with it. The colors are beautiful and slightly muted so they aren’t boldly in your face. It does NOT have a smell at all. The corners are obviously curled right out of the packed but they are already starting to lay down nicely after about an hour of being unrolled. Bought this rug over a year ago to go under our dining room table. We were in a condo and it tended to bubble up just a little but not to the point where is wasn’t flattering. We rotated it a few times and took the dining room table off of it to vacuum it and flatten it again. But it was not difficult. We just moved into a home with hardwood floors, and it looks fantastic. It really is a steal for the price you pay since most area rugs can cost up to $200 or $300. Super easy to clean, and durable. It has survived the move and a lot of messy eating by our teenage daughter. Definitely would recommend this rug and company to anyone! I made a few mistakes in the past with rugs, the last one I ordered smelled really bad. However, this rug is odor free, zero wrinkles, perfect size (I got the 8 x 10) and gorgeous! I definitely recommend purchasing this rug, soft under feet, beautiful subtle pattern, and works in any room, you can't go wrong with this rug. This rug perfectly brightens up or living/dining space as I imagined based on the specs and other reviews. We are thrilled! Seems to be excellent quality, is very soft, flat enough so easy to pick up crumbs, and just a pleasure for the eyes. One week in and it's still airing in another room though, because I'm very sensitive to the (in my opinion, not shared by other family members) strong chemical smell. Read more

We ordered this area rug for our guest bedroom. We wanted to change the carpet cost effectively then we came to a decision of removing the carpet and change it with an area rug that can cover wall to wall. We carefully measured our floor and looked several area rugs that can cover this room wall to wall. We were glad to find this one which was very very close to what we needed. It was fast delivery, good color and nicely made but it goes about 3 inches short on the side from the actual size advertised. We were a bit disappointed but its okay because the idea help us to save some money new carpet. Read more

Beautiful rug. To my eye it's more blue/light grey vibe than ivory. Fortunately it still looked great with our all mirrored dining table (including the legs) and cream french country chairs. I do have a good pad underneath and recommend using one. I purchased two of these rugs and keeping both. Read more
