We love to journal, draw and doodle around here, so we always love colorful pens. These gel pens are pretty nice. There are plenty of colors and every color worked right out of the package. Most of the time they write smoothly, but there are some times an extra bit of ink comes out making it slightly less smooth. For our doodling and projects, this is no big deal, but if you are looking to make something more perfect it's good to know that this happens. The slight bit of glitter is more noticeable in the light. The pens are lightweight and all clear so we can see the ink that is in them. We tried to sort them by color (they were not sorted completely in the package), and we did mix up a few of the blues, purples and blacks, but over all we could usually tell the color from the ink. It's nice to be able to see how much ink is left and it looks like these will last awhile. The lids stay on ok once they are snapped on correctly, but we find we have to double check they are closed because some come off more easily than others. The pens are a thinner lightweight plastic so you'll want to be careful with them. It's fine for adults and older kids who will be gentle. Overall this is a nice pen set for the price. It has every color we could possibly want and adds some fun to our daily writing projects. Read more
Unlike a lot of sparkle gel pens, these standout well on white paper. Even the paler pink and yellow have good visibility. These write well right out of the pack. I had one that skipped a little, but otherwise the ink flowed well. The sparkle is uniform. The packaging is designed as a pen case with snap closures. One oddity... there is a two line strip of square color swaths on the label. These don't appear to match the actual contents. For instance, there are no reds shown, yet the set includes at least six that I would class as red hued, not including the pink. It is a nice set! Read more
