First thing to note is that this desk ships as two packages. I don't recall that being mentioned in the description. I received the packages several days apart which caused some confusion. I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon. I almost never write reviews. But that's how impressed I am by this desk. These sitting/standing desks used to cost close to $1000. There was nothing available like this so inexpensive. I looked at several other standing desk options on Amazon. Here's why I went with this one (and I'm glad I did.) 1. The desk top is one solid piece. Most alternatives on Amazon are two pieces you have to put together. There's a split down the middle of desk top! And I could see that messing with my mouse, getting dirty, etc. 2. Powder coating on the desk top. The alternatives have seams and imperfections around the edges of the desk top...corners, etc. Makes it look and feel cheap. This is one solid piece. For example, there's nowhere for moisture or water or condensation to soak into the board and warm it. Great material. 3. Shipping / packing quality. Lots of other products' reviews stated the desk was damaged on arrival. Not this one. It was packed excellently. Not a blemish on arrival! 4. I was pleased to discover also that this was super easy to put together. Great instructions. 5. Sturdy. Great build quality. I just got it put together last night. So far so good. Great Value! I ordered this 55" desk in white and put it together in about 30 min. It was nice having the assembly video on Amazon, even though the instructions that come with the desk are not bad. It does come in 2 boxes and they arrived together. It feels pretty stable at standing height. It cost a little more than other similar products, but has MUCH better reviews. I’m really impressed with this standing desk. The motor is super quiet (almost silent) which makes adjusting the height smooth and non-disruptive. The build quality is excellent; the desk feels very sturdy and well-made. I also love the design. The tabletop is a single solid piece, not split in the middle like many other desks, which makes it look cleaner and feel much more premium. The desk was pretty good, it WAS single piece, keep in mind this MAY come in 2 shipments, but lucky me, this came in one. Bought this for our office and have had it for a few months now. Absolutely worth it. Price and delivery were factors in this purchase as we wanted fast delivery since we were opening the office so soon. It is very stable, looks as described and fits really well with our choice of decoration for the office. It's easy to use, 7 buttons total (up, down, "s" for setting a profile, and the numbers 1 through 4 to set up/program different settings/heights".
