This 4HC-H filters fits well in our Hoshizaki system. Installation was straightforward, and the filter dimensions matched as expected despite being slightly shorter than the older model. I swapped in this Pelicori 4HC-H filter for our Hoshizaki setup and noticed the difference by the next day. Our ice cubes looked clearer and the water didn’t have that chlorine taste anymore. Really glad to have gotten this to replace my previous old ice maker water filter. It was easy to put in just like my previous original filter. Didn’t have any issues putting it in. Water and ice came out more refreshing and clear. I don’t think it’s just in my head. The ice water does taste more pure and clean. My old filter was probably not doing anything anymore since I noticed a big difference right after installing this. The ice smelled and appeared cleaner than before. I like that it’s BPA free and lead free because many other filters don’t say that. It says that it can filter up to 21000 gallons of water, so it should last for a long time.
