This dash cam works great - video is clear and user interface is straightforward. Installation was simple, and I bought the optional hard-wire kit so I could use the "parking mode" where it detects and records if something bumps into the car while it is parked. After liking the first camera I purchased, I went ahead and bought three more for our family's other vehicles, so now all of our cars are protected with this camera. Eventually one of the cameras started to have a glitch, so I reached out to the company's customer service, and they quickly replaced the malfunctioning camera. This dash cam, as well as the manufacturer, Yeecore has outstanding positive reviews. After receiving my dash cam, I was very impressed with the easy and thorough installation instructions. It was very easy for me to install it and operate all of the features. The quality of the front and back cameras and the numerous features are outstanding. It connected seamlessly and easily to my Wi-Fi connection to my phone and to the Yeecore app, which runs very smoothly. I am very pleased and surprised by the quality of the 4K, 1080P, very high resolution video with a nice size 3” viewing screen with a very clear picture. The dash cam even has HDR night vision mode. It can be connected to a power source that turns on recording when the vehicle is on, or a power source that is always on. The benefit of always on, would record situations when your vehicle is parked, like an accident, hit and run, or vandalism. I highly recommend every vehicle should have a dash cam. It adds a safety benefit as a back up camera. The most important and critical benefit is in case of an accident, front or rear, you would have absolute proof of what happened. The video is kept in memory on the camera’s video card, as well as transferable to the Yeecore Viewer phone app. It comes with a USB data cable to connect the phone to a computer to download the files. 6 months later: Worked with company (Daria) to get a replacement and they sent a new camera at no cost. At least they want to make the customer happy with their product. I have installed the new one and it works. I will keep you updated on how this one does. Review Update after a year: Camera only works intermittently. Do not know what is the issue, but it no longer works 24/7 mode as I have it hooked up in that configuration. It only works when the truck is on. Will probably have to try another brand as only getting a year out of this product is not good enough. I have placed this camera in my truck. So far it works as described. Setup was easy. Hiding the cable was easy. I plan to get the hardwire kit so I can use the parking monitor feature of the camera. It took a few times to get the phone connected, but all is well.
