The folding capability is nice but the bulkyness of the axel makes it kinda awkward to use for a smooth cut. Still a great product and great price. Read more
These are the best "tinkle" blades I've ever used! So many of these inexpensive disposable razors have a blade that goes to the very end, without any gap between the blade and the plastic. Anytime I've used blades like that, I always end up with tiny cuts from that edge coming into contact with skin that isn't being slightly held back by the pressure under the razor. Sure, if I'm incredibly careful I can minimize that... but lets be real, ain't no body got time for that! You can see in one of the pictures that these have the smallest gap between the blade and the plastic cover - that's enough to stop the cuts! I did get one tiny cut, but that was because my pup decided she wanted to help :) In the other picture you can see how well it worked after one quick pass over my arm. Make sure you really clean your face first, and keep a good spray/mister bottle with water (or any of you spritzy skin care) to help give the blade a little slip. You can do it dry, but be careful if you have dry skin or little bumps as they can get caught and not only irritate that spot, but cause another issue when the blade comes back in contact with your skin after "skipping" over the dry skin/bump. The first time I used these, l did NOT like them at all- they felt rough, and my skin stung after I tested one on the back of my hand. I set them aside for a day or two, and decided I should give them one more try before I got rid of them. After experimenting a bit, I realized that these needed to be held at a very specific angle to work properly - more so than the many others I've used over the years. The description says a 45 degree angle, but I found that they’re a bit finicky, and the angle needs more precise tweaking than others. At that angle, they work very well; the result is smooth and does a great job cleanly removing a fine layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz. One of the biggest bonuses for me is that, unlike a lot of disposable dermaplane razors, the end is not squared off- it’s rounded and the edge makes it much less likely to accidentally cut yourself. I also appreciate the resealable packet these come in, and the foldable design makes them easier to keep clean after each use/disinfecting. For disposable dermaplaners, these are a great value. I will say I've never used a dermaplane razor before, but based on the fact that it's called a "razor" i expected it to be sharper. It says it can remove peach fuzz, but it's too dull to remove peach fuzz from my face. I'd say it's more like a scraper than a razor. Could be useful if you have dry skin for helping to exfoliate, but the "blade" is jagged and not flat and I just don't think it's really supposed to be doing what it should be doing? Doesn't remove any baby fine hairs from my face so it's not really what I expected and for that reason I can't really recommend it. Read more

Bought this 4-pack of AskBed dermaplane razors for my wife since she wanted to try facial shaving for smoother makeup application and getting rid of that peach fuzz without heading to a salon every time. The blades are sharp enough to glide over the skin and take off the fine hair plus dead skin in one pass, leaves her face feeling soft and exfoliated like after a professional treatment, and the little safety guards help avoid nicks if you're careful. Handles are easy to grip even with lotion on, and having four in the pack means they last a while before needing replacements. That said, like most dermaplaning tools, you have to go slow and use short strokes or you can irritate sensitive skin, and they're single-use style so not the most eco-friendly option out there. Overall decent budget choice for at-home facial hair removal and glow-up if you follow some basic tutorials first. Read more

I needed some dermaplaning razors to prep my face for at home IPL hair treatment, so I ordered these to try. These are very simple dermaplane razors that come in a 4 pack. The razor head folds down into a slot in the handle for safety, and the body is plastic with gripping textures for holding securely. The blade doesn't look sharp, but have no doubt that it is extremely sharp. I first tried these for shaping my eyebrows and they mow those down with no issue. I next tried on my "peach fuzz" hairs on my chinny chin chin, and it works beautifully for a nice smooth feel. You can definitely use these for microderm abrasion if you want to move dead skins cells, but like I said - the blade is extremely sharp and you will definitely scratch the surface layer of your skin, so a little goes a long way. Overall, I'm very happy with this set of 4 razors. For a set of four and a price under $5, it's totally worth the price. It's definitely a decent value for your money. They work well on my face.
