I’ve previously reviewed a very similar manual nasal hair trimmer and had an excellent experience with it, so I had high expectations for this one. Unfortunately, this version performs very poorly by comparison. These trimmers hardly cut at all. The few hairs they did manage to cut caused noticeable pulling, which suggests the blade simply isn’t sharp enough. With the previous trimmer I reviewed, I felt no pulling whatsoever, it cut cleanly and quickly. I’ve included a photo comparing this trimmer to the older one (shown on the left). This new version is noticeably bulkier at the cutting head, and I suspect that extra bulk contributes to its poor performance and difficulty accessing hairs effectively. After using this trimmer and removing only a couple of hairs, I immediately followed up with the older model and several more hairs were cut quickly and effortlessly. The difference was very clear. While the concept is fine and I normally like manual trimmers, this particular one just doesn’t work well enough to recommend. Read more

Even though the idea and the item itself look promising, it didn’t really work. I tried rotating the razor inside the nostril (with some fear of getting cuts, by the way), and it didn’t work. I don’t think there are many ways to rotate it in such a delicate and small opening like the nostril, so I believe I did everything right. Clockwise or counterclockwise — same result: no result at all, since the blade didn’t cut anything. Unfortunately, it just didn’t do the job for me, so I can’t really recommend it. Read more
