I really like this rug! It's basically like a large bath mat - the backing of the rug has grips similar to a bath mat. The thickness is similar and the fibers feel like it's actually attached to the backing, though I haven't tried testing it out through washing so I'm not sure how it will hold up to that. It can handle my Dyson V15 (on Eco mode) and it's easy to use an Uproot on. I also like the fibers of the rug that makes nice vacuum and broom lines. It's very soft to step on and the dog likes to lay on it too. If you need a cheap rug that's easy to care for and soft, get it! Read more

This rug is very soft, the black color is very rich and it is actually slip resistant. I did not have to put down rug fixers or an anti slip mat. It's very big and covers the area I bought it for. Also, I've had it down for more than a week and it doesn't seems to shed. I feel good about this purchase. Read more

Got these to place under our large dog bed. These are actually nicer than expected. Be forewarned, they come vacuum sealed and shrink wrapped, so it needs a few hours to fully fluff up after opening. That said, because we're using them under the dog bed, I put it to use immediately and it fluffed up just fine. Read more

This is not the rug pictured in the main page. The texture/grain is very different than what you see when you zoom in on the picture, which shows a real rug that would be too heavy and bulky to fit in the tiny box this came in. In contrast, this "rug" is just super thin velour fabric backed with super thin plastic, and that is why it is a small lightwight package about 12" x 18" x 4". This thin blanket would be slippery to walk on and would probably get sucked up into a good vacuum. Read more

I really wanted to keep this rug, navy color was perfect, and very comfortable to walk upon-with no slip padding that worked well for my area. As instructions say, it did take a few hours to fully expand. The edges are where it looses in design. Color of trim is noticeably different but the style/fabric of edging somehow makes the overall look, appear cheaply made. I couldn’t -not- notice it. Really stands out, to me. It's a great rug otherwise but just not what I need, so it’s being returned. Read more

I love this rug! Even after washing it is still as soft as before and still lays right on the ground. I recommend of you have animals or small kids that may make a mess on it. I feel like no matter how much I wash it comes out just as it was before. Read more

Just started using this rug and a runner I purchased at the same time just after Christmas. So far they both look and feel great. We left them lay flat in the back room to air out and flatten out some before putting them in the living room. This one is good on being slip resistant. Very easy to just lay out and use without complications. Did not notice a smell of any kind either. We love the color as well. Read more
