We have purchased other air fryers in the past, and we particularly liked this one because of its capacity, ease of use, and versatility. Everything was working great until 5 months ago when we found we could not add another 5 minutes of cooking time after air-frying some meat. The touchscreen blacked out when we tried to start it up again. After the air fryer completely cooled down, it seemed to work ... but again, only one time. Ever since then, we can now air-fry only one time before the panel malfunctions. It is very disappointing as we had truly enjoyed using it for a variety of foods. We have contacted Miraston's customer service and are waiting for are response. Their website says they are advocates of customer service, so I will follow up and let you know how it went. Edit: The Miraston customer service representative got back to me in less than 2 days. She was professional, efficient, and a true advocate of customer service. She was able to resolve the issues I had with our air fryer. We are more than grateful and are back to enjoying this fantastic air fryer. Read more

NO MORE NUMBERS But Works Great

Just what I wanted...a large capacity with simple timer and temp dial operation instead of having to program. My family and I are pleased with using this and it seems to work well. The window is a bonus but of course you still need to open to really see what's going on. Cons: Temp only goes to 400 (but we are mostly reheating)...No way to pull out the tray with the food on it; you need to dump (common with these things I guess)...Silicone tray bumpers get lost (but you can and I did find replacements)...and THE NUMBERS RUBBED OFF! It's not as though this thing even gets used every day, but a few weeks ago (got it in Summer), I went to turn the timer and the numbers were disappearing as I did! Either make sure your hands don't touch the fryer body, or cover the numbers with nail polish, or ??? I am not happy about it and have scratched the numbers and marks in on the body to hold their places until I can figure another solution. This should not happen! If you can live with this or find a way to prevent/resolve it, great! If not, beware! Read more
