Had for 1 day. Looks great. Hefty so it SHOULD be durable. Huge flame. So when I tried to adjust the flame down with the included, undersized wrench, half of the plastic adjustment wheel broke off because the flat part of wrench is not wide nor thick enough. I was able to re-load with butane after several attempts, but this could cause leakage and fire hazard. For the price, I will buy another and adjust with a wider flat head screwdriver. Lighter does not respond after being laid down flat. You have to shake again for 3 seconds with multiple attempts to light. Read more
This is a fantastic lighter that incorporates some very useful tools. Starting with the cigar needle or Perfecdraw-style tool, you can loosen a tight draw. It also has a V cutter and a punch on the side, plus you can flip it over and use the base as a cigar stand. That's helpful when you don't want to use in-house ash trays or set your cigar down on a dirty surface. This thing is a looker, too. I got two lighters to review for my site The BS Lounge (the other a Moniup) and while I prefer the honeycomb design of the other, I'm certainly happy with the carbon fiber style of this one. Dangerous. I had this lighter for several month and all seemed well. I actually liked it a great deal. Then a couple days ago I filled it and then later that evening went to light a cigar and it was looking like a soft flame lighter - then instantly the entire lighter was on fire and nearly blew up in my hand. Through it down and exhausted all gas and tossed it in the trash!!!! Read more
I bought this lighter & was so pleased when I got it. I used it 1x weekly and work perfectly that I bought 2 more as gifts. I only use premium fuel in my lighters. As you can see from the date of purchase mine has stopped lighting shortly thereafter. . The tank is full with premium fuel and it makes the hissing sound when I trigger it like it wants to light but it doesn't. I can see the pilot light flicker but the lighter does not light. It's a shame since the concept is nice. Obviously I am out of my warranty date. I hope the ones I gave as gifts still work embarrassing if they are not as they wont tell me. Any help on how to fix this problem as I really like the lighter.? Subsequent note and reason for now the 5 stars.....I wrote asking for help with my lighter with the problem of not lighting. Uppallant responded almost immediately and apologized for my having the problem. I was out of my warranty period so I didnt expect much but maybe some trouble shooting tips. To my surprise they Immediately said they would send my another lighter which I did not ask for, they also said they would talk to the design group to see if they can find the reason for my problem. In all if they take care of their customers like they did me I am sure they will do what it takes to make sure they put out a good product. I am also glad I purchased the other 2 for gifts as well.
