these are great wire cutters for a really low price. and they were on sale. they don't last long in my house so I buy plenty of inexpensive ones that can be tossed out when they wear out. Although, generally these wear very well compared to more expensive ones. I use them when I'm making jewelry. The grip is comfortable and the tip is sharp, good for precision cutting. Sharp right out of the box and they cut clean instead of smashing the wire. Spring action feels good and they’re easy to control for small, precise work. I’ve used them on small wire and 3D print cleanup and they’re holding up fine so far. Comfortable to use and way better than the cheap cutters that come in tool kits. My guess is that these will hold up as well as the pair I've misplaced, that never went bad, but the real bonus is that this double set comes with caps that cover the blades and are very unlikely to come loose accidentally, a very clever and precise design, I can confidently carry these in my backpack or other carrying case without being concerned with having the cutters put holes in them due to exposed blade tips. Also as mentioned, the cutters/snips are beautifully finished, with high gloss, comfortable handles. I tested these on the typical light gauge wire that they are designed to cut and they worked fine. Sharp blades, perfect size for female hands. Just there's no handle lock clip to keep the blades and handles together for their protection from damage. Some how I lost my 3 pairs in a single day! So time to get new ones! Sharpness: Absolutely, they are quite sharp and effective for their intended use. Durability: I would caution against using these on steel; they are not designed for such hard materials. However, for cutting copper wires, plastic, and soldered wire, they perform admirably and are perfectly suitable. Cutting Precision: I can notice and feel a slight misalignment where the two cutting edges meet. So if you are looking for something more precise, look else ware. Grip, feel and and ease of use: They have rubber grips which, unfortunately, can become slippery if your hands are oily. For someone with larger hands like myself, they provide a comfortable grip... however, I find the spring action a bit too tight for my liking. Read more
