We bought a different one first from elsewhere and it looked much cheaper compared to the ad so decided to try this one. It is definitely made well and is a solid piece of metal. The rods coming from the ceiling down are metal and look nicer than rope or chain in my opinion. They also give you various heights to drop the fixture. Install was a breeze and everything needed except a screw driver was included. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the previous fixture and install this one. Have a second person or something tall you can rest the light on when wiring to the ceiling as you don't have much extra wire length to have it on a table or floor and reach. Overall it looks nice. I do wish it was larger but that's no fault of the product. My one suggestion for the manufacturer would be to color code the hot and neutral wires. They have a small sticker noting each but don't think these will stay on long term which will result in having 2 identical wires to figure out if ever reinstalling. Read more
