Minoxidil and biotin supplements (internal and external) have been a game changer for my hair thickness, decreased hair loss (especially in the shower!) and healthier hair, skin and nils (the biotin part). This good quality (made in an FDA facility with cGMP) 5% minoxidil product has a good consistency, making it easy to apply to my scalp. Quality is super important in these minoxidil products as this is not regulated by FDA (it used to be by prescription only and is now generic and available to all). Your best bet is to look for the FDA facility, cGMP and third party lab testing that verifies the dose and purity in these products. If you do not have a scalp brush, I highly recommend it, as rubbing my scalp has been a good way to apply the product while stimulating hair follicles. You can, of course, use your fingers but the scalp brush seems to work better on my scalp. I also use a derma roller (.5 mm) bout one a week to apply hair serum deeper into the top layers of my scalp. Just started to use this specific 5% minoxidil product, and it's better than the last 5% minoxidil product because it is unscented and a full 6 month supply. The biotin (healthy hair) and Panthenol (for improved hair texture) are icing on the cake in terms of using a minoxidil product. It's important to note that I did not start seeing real results with 5% minoxidil until after about 4 months of use and once you start, it is recommended to continue to use it (for as long as you want to address hair loss). I also started to take hair focused vitamins at the same time and that has also helped not only my hair, but my skin and nails too. This product is also a better value than other similar products I have tried. I'm over all super happy with this product and no pictures from me means it is exactly as shown. Working so far. It's a slow process, but it's definitely working. I see new hair growing all the time. I did my homework on this stuff and it is true that it will take longer then three months for the hair to be the way it once was. So don't think that this will solve it all in one day, it takes time and continued use to reach the point that you are looking for. It's difficult for me to review this product, because it turns out I'm one of the individuals for whom minoxidil apparently does nothing. The packaging is conveniently sized, and the bottles are easy to open. It's very easy to dose the product, and I didn't experience any side effects or discomfort during my four (4) months of use. Yes, four (4) months. That's generally accepted as the amount of time you need to use it (daily!) in order to see results, though some people might see initial results earlier. So, while I can't recommend it to you based on its performance, it won't hurt to give it a try to see if you are one of those for whom the product works successfully. As I age, my light grey hair is getting thinner and when hair falls out, it is attached to the follicle. And each strand of my hair is thinner and more fragile than it used to be. The crown of my head still grows fine with medium thick hair shaft, but the temple area is thinning and each hair shaft is finer than the hair on my crown and nape. I ordered two, 3.38 fluid ounce bottles of 5% MINOXIDIL HAIR REGROWTH SERUM from the Pdam Store in hopes that I could prevent further hairloss, especially at my temples. The Pdam Topical Minoxidil serum contains Minoxidil 5% , Biotin, Glycerin, and Pathenol. I can get about 2 months treatment out of each bottle; a total of 4 months. The product is not greasy and it doesn't dry out or irritate my scalp. I massage a few drop into my scalp for about 3 minutes and leave it in for an hour with plastic cap on. BTW, I wash my hands thoroughly after applying. The instructions advise that since I am a woman, I need to apply one time a day (compared to a man who is to use twice a day.) I've finished one month treatment and read that I may not see any difference until the end of month four. I will report back if I see new growth by then. I've been using this serum for a couple of weeks now, and while I haven't noticed any significant changes yet, I'm hopeful it will start to work soon. The application is easy, The texture is nice and doesn't leave any greasy residue. The package advertises as a six month supply and I could easily see that given the quantity. It comes in two separate plastic squeeze bottles with fairly straightforward instructions. The liquid applies easily through the opening in the soft top tip when unfastened, then it is a simple process of massaging onto the affected area. I am rating basing on the quantity, quality of the bottles and ease of use rather than the efficacy as I just received these. However, given Minoxidil is a proven ingredient presuming it is present in the amount indicated there is no reason to believe it will not work. There is a slight odor following application (almost minty, but clearly medicinal) that stays with you for about fifteen minutes. It could be longer though I only noticed it for that long, possible it faded or I just got used to it. I will probably just apply at night so it doesn't stay with me when I leave the house. Overall, quite pleased for what I received and the price seems reasonable for such a large supply. Read more
