This is an extra strength formula so a I was a little skeptical on using for fear it may burn my scalp however, my scalp was fine. This has a nice combination of known hair growth products combined into one which is very apealing.I have been using for just over a month now and still have some left however I'm not sure I am applying the correct amount each application because there is no marker on the bottle. Each bottle is 3ml but you are only to apply .5 ml at each application. Can't really eyeball .5 ml. and with this being extra strength I fear I could potentially be burning my scalp. This kit did not come with any instructions so you must go back to the site to figure out how to use it. Not always the most convenient process. I also struggled opening the bottle and went to other feedback to figure out how to remove the cap and had no issue after that. I do appreciate this does not cause your hair to feel dirty or oily. I haven't really noticed any new hair growth but I do know, positive results could take several months. I’m very confused by this product. I’m not sure how much to use and whether you keep the bottle with the applicator together or you get the prescribed amount and then take it off and splash it on your scalp very confusing. It’s also not clear to me. how many weeks or days this is good. Feel like I wasted my money for I had thought it was going to be six months but that’s my bad it didn’t say that so that was my mistake. I think I will get another product the next time. There should be a marker on the applicator telling you where the correct amount is for each application overall, I think it’s probably only good for one month so it’s relatively expensive as far as other generics go. I'm really left scratching my head (no pun intended) as to why this was packaged the way it is. It comes in 8 glass vials fitted to a nice magnetic clasped box. I mean it feels premium, until you go to use it. There is no instructions on how to apply this. I've used sprays, pumps, foams, droppers, you name it. But this one is unique. There are two applicators provided that are meant to go over the glass capsules and then you're meant to squeeze the end to apply. There is no way to really get a good idea how much you're applying this way but that isn't even the biggest problem. The BIGGEST problem is opening the glass capsules and removing the gold foil around the rubber stopper. First off, its not even clear at first that you should be doing this. It almost looks like you're meant to pierce the top somehow with the big circle in the middle of the rubber stopper. But quickly you realize that won't work and you set off on trying to remove the VERY thick golden foil around the top. Its actually quite difficult. I'm a full grown man who pops tops off of screw jars for my whole family, and still I struggled with opening this. Even with scissors I had handy nearby it was tough to get a good cut to completely remove the foil so the applicator can go on the top. It was so tough that I ended up dropping it and losing half the capsule because of the force involved in removal. If I am just a dummy and missed something, so be it, but there is no instruction provided so as far as I know, this is just a bad design. Otherwise, I cannot say how effective the serum is since Minoxidil takes months to take effect and I've been using minoxidil products for a year. Overall, Minoxidil is effective for me, but I won't know if THIS product specifically is effective without staying on it for several months and I probably won't be ordering it again. Read more
