This is a delayed review because I wanted it to be authentic. I bought these little bottles in December of 24 after watching a known peri/menopause Dr speak about hair loss and prevention and she recommended these. (Not the seller but the brand and little bottles.) I use it twice a week after my shower, but at first, I panicked. My hair was shedding like crazy, and I even Googled “minoxidil hair loss,” thinking I made a mistake. Turns out, that’s just part of the process called shedding. “Minoxidil shedding is a common and temporary side effect of using minoxidil, a medication used to treat hair loss. It occurs when the hair growth cycle is accelerated, causing more hair to shed in the initial weeks of treatment.” I’m glad I stuck with it. My head is covered in new growth. If you’re struggling with hair loss, be patient. This stuff works. New growth will look like breakage on top, so just grab some flyaway serum until it grows! Read more
I don't have hair loss but I am older and want to maintain my hair so I started using this spray. It is easy to use and isn't greasy or drying. I have been using this for about 4 months and have new hairs growing. I use the end of a rat tail comb to part my hair and get the spray on my scalp. I've only been using this product for about a month but I'm already noticing new growth as well as an acceleration of growth in existing new growth. The spray makes it easier to apply versus foam minoxidil I've used in the past and I find this product to be less greasy and dries down better than foam. I have been using the product twice per day since I received it which is approximately two weeks. I am treating the crown of my scalp and the frontal "male pattern baldness" area although the product is not recommended to grow hair in the frontal area. But noting ventured, nothing gained is a general truism and will not cost much money to give it a try. Maybe in a few weeks, I will see some positive results.
