My teen son had major surgery a couple of years ago, afterward he experienced hair loss in response to the trauma to his body. He loves that the spray application nozzle goes right to his scalp and doesn’t get in his hair like the mousse. He also loves that he can spray as much as needed, instead of trying to guess how much he will need with mousse. Its quick and easy for him, he can just do a couple sprays, rub it in a bit and go. The liquid doesn’t have any noticeable scent or sensation on his scalp except for the feeling of a liquid being sprayed on the scalp. It will take time to say whether this Minoxidil is less or more effective than the mousse he was using, but so far so good. Overall, this is an easy to use form of Minoxidil. The applicator is easy to use, convenient and gets down to the scalp. I have used a couple different Minoxidil solutions and have learned that I do prefer a spray applicator to a drip applicator. It seems counter intuitive but I think the drip applicator actually allows for more waste. I can spray accurately and evenly with the spray bottles while the drip applicators run and end up less controlled and over dispensed. It is hard to say how well it works because it takes time and consistency. There is an increase in thickness and a halt to thinning for me though. Read more

I’ve been using this minoxidil spray consistently and so far it’s been easy to apply and not greasy at all. The applicator is a little awkward but I finally figured it out. I like that it’s unscented and dries pretty quickly but it doesnt foam well so it can run. Too early to say big results yet, but I have noticed less shedding and my hair feels a bit thicker. This Minoxidil works just as good as a big brand. I really like how easy it is to apply and it has no off / bad smell. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any thick residue build up. I decided to give this 5% Minoxidil serum a shot because I’ve been noticing thinning spots on my scalp. What I liked: Application is simple — you spray or apply it topically, it dries quickly and it doesn’t feel too heavy or greasy. Maybe a tiny bit greasy. The bottle is small and easy to use, this is basically a perfect travel size. Since I can't possibly say if it works over the course of months yet, I won't know if it helps to regrow hair .. but minoxidil is nothing new so as long as this is a properly made product I'm sure it will work for most people. What to watch out for / what could be better: At first I noticed a bit of dryness/itchiness on my scalp — not severe, but enough that I had to watch out for it. The very slight greasy feeling left on your hair might annoy some but it is not bad.
