I've been using these for a couple months now and they're great! It comes with 5 hooks and the one in the sink has been holding up so well these past couple months, that I don't think you need to keep back ups. Unless you plan to move, change out your sink basin or change your mind for where you want it placed. Very easy to use, just adhere to a clean, dry place and they are secure! I also use one by my shoe shelves to hold a shoe horn where we can all find it which gets a lot of traffic in the winter months for our boots and it's still holding up very well. Holy moly, these are heavy-duty. I attached this to the side of the utility sink, and then I thought maybe I should re-position it. Nope. No going back. It's there, and it will stay there. It holds the magic eraser perfectly, so really, I have no complaints! It looks nice, and it was a cinch to attach. Just make sure you plan exactly where you want it before you place it there! I wanted 2 sponge holders and when I saw this pack of 5, for the price I thought why not? I'm glad I got 5. These things are tough and really nice stainless steel. I stuck one in my kitchen sink and one in my shower and they really stick! My shower is slightly textured and when I pulled on this hook about 10 minutes after hanging it, it wouldn't budge. Same in the kitchen sink. Great adhesive. Since I have 3 left over I decided to sacrifice one of them for testing but absolutely nothing happened. The hook still looks shiny and brand new. These are very versatile and would be great for hanging other things too. I've included a photo of the cleaning products I used and tested on the hook. I put each product on the hook and let it sit for 10 minutes and then scrubbed the hook with a scrubby sponge. If you need a hook like this I recommend this 5-pack. I had to come back with an update. Although these hooks are great and super well made and they are still firmly stuck where I put them, they are not working as sponge holders. My sponges just keep falling off, whether I cut them in half or not, these hooks aren't wide enough for that job. I still love them, just not as sponge holders. Read more

I received this free through the Vine program in order to review it. Amazon tells me it costs $15.99. That seems like a high price for 6 hooks, hence the 4 stars, not 5. I would not pay that much for them, though they are nicely made and will be useful. The product seems well made and will be useful. The way the hooks are shaped, they can be used to hang things other than sponges and the adhesive is 3M brand, so I assume it will work well. I don't know how much weight it can hold but the adhesive patch is over an inch square so I assume it can hold things much heavier than a sponge. I don't know if it removes from the wall without damaging the paint and the product comes with no instructions or information. The hooks are metal and they are quite nice looking and I will use them in my RV to hang small items. Read more

These are well made sponge holders with included pre-mounted 3M adhesive so they can stick on the inside of your sink bowl, or they can be used freestanding on the sink rim. The stainless construction means no rusting or corrosion will occur and they are easy to keep clean and sanitary. At $3 each in the multipack, they're also a good value. These are substantial hook holders, appropriate for a wide range of uses. I placed one on the top side of my kitchen sink, to hold a cleaning sponge. My sink is porcelain, and the holder seems to fit tightly. Works well and as intended. The holder is large enough to accommodate the sponge or one or more cleaning tools. I placed another holder on the back of the door of my pantry—for a canvas plastic bag holder. Again, easy installation: just peel off the backing and affix. I've tried so many types of sponge holders in the kitchen sink and none have never found one that holds the sponge well, letting it drip dry, and at the same time not taking up a ton of real estate in the sink basin. Well, this Woofbrite sponge holder does all that! Finally happy with a sponge holder. The smaller size efficiently holds the sponge and takes up little space. The stainless steel is classy looking and strong. It is easy to keep clean. I haven't used the adhesive backing yet and am eager to stick it on. Right now, I'm impressed that the holder makes a great sponge holding stand on the countertop. It is sturdy and does not tip over. For anyone hesitant about using the adhesive, this is certainly an alternate way of using it. I'm glad there are five in the set ~ I'll be using them around the house and one in the camper as well.
