It is very useful it's lasted for a lot of years and still going charges good very durable, fits, and it just plugs into the front of my PS5 very easily, just don't jam it in there like an idiot lol. And brightness I don't really notice it all that much blends well the the standard PS5. Read more

This fits the PS5 disc edition as stated. I used this to expand the number of ports available since I have a headset with a DAC that uses a USB for power for an adapter to make it compatible with the PS5. I also have an external HDD with saved games from my PS4. It was easy to plug in, but make sure you fully seat the device. You want to be careful unplugging anything, as the ports are tight and don't have much give. So you could easily unplug the device itself. I use this for an external microphone mounted to a boom arm. It performs flawlessly, and there's no delay in my mic responsiveness. For the price I paid and the way it functions, it feels like a steal and worth every penny. It charges my PS5 controllers as well as my custom pro controllers with no issue. I've yet to try the infamous firmware update where it requires you to plug in your controller, but as of late it seems Sony may be moving away from those since my last two were done wirelessly. I have quite a few accessories (keyboard, headset, power bank for controller, cooling base, cooling back mount, external harddrive). Clearly, all my usb ports are accounted for on the back side of my PS5. This was the perfect solution! Now I can charge all my gadgets, and not have to worry about scattering them about the living room at different outlets. Now everything stays neat and tidy right by my console, and I don't have to repeatedly unplug my keyboard receiver to charge things. ONLY ONE PROBLEM: the bottom usb (2.0) does not work with my keyboard receiver. I have to plug it into one of the 3.0 usb ports. Nothing major. Have not tested whether or not the 2.0 charges or if its entierly useless, not that it matters all too much seeing as how I still have plenty of 3.0 ports. I don't imagine I would ever need, or want, to use the 2.0 port. Read more

Bought for my son's new PS5 for Christmas. So far so good. He likes the variable settings for fan speed (off/low/high). It does a great job of pulling heat out of the PS5. It was really easy to install, just clips at the top and goes into one of the ports. He likes that even though it takes up a USB port, there's an additional port built into the fan to make up for it. The only thing he'd like more, is if there was a remote to turn it on. ;) Or maybe make the on/off button more accessible? It is a little annoying trying to find the on/off button underneath the fan (especially in the dark). It's a tiny little push button you actually have to try and grab. It's not super user-friendly in that regard. It does what it's designed to do though and was a good price! Read more

I picked this product because of its color scheme and its shape. I've had similar product for a PS4 that never really worked well but because this utilized both USB-C and the Single USB3.0 it works well and I have not had any issues with it Connectivity: It also offers a lot of connectivity with 4 3.0 USB 1 2.0USB and a USB-C Port Port functionality: I use the USB-C to connect a external keyboard as well as occasional controller charging. I bought this attachment a while ago and it worked fine. I ended up getting a type c to type c cable to allow me to quick charge my controller and ever since then, I keep getting a pop up on my screen saying that there are too many devices connected even if I only have the 1 cable plugged in. Could be an issue on the PlayStation side, but since I canβt use the expansion as per its design, I canβt give it a positive review. No real reason to have all those ports if you canβt use them unless itβs just to have a backup if 1 or more of the other ports break or donβt work. Read more
