I bought it because it was compatible with my 5qt kitchen aid and was hopeful. I needed a stainless steel bowl to make my whipping cream. I lucked out it is perfect it fits my tilt head mixmaster and it's light after using my glass bowl that was fine when I was younger now at 83 it was becoming hard to get in and out of cabinet with this new bowl probably weighs only 3 pounds. This bowl appeared to be an excellent quality. The only reason I could not keep it is because my daughter surprise me with a brand new KitchenAid mixer and it had a bowl with a handle. I tried this bowl on my old classic from Wayback win and on my new mixer to see if it would fit and it fit both models! You couldn’t go wrong with this bowl it is a jewel! Read more
