Exactly what I wanted
I've had mixed luck with sticky notes over the years, with a particular household name brand being the most consistently reliable, so I had low expectations when I ordered these. I loved the colors, and they were the size I use most often, and the price was too good to pass up, so I took the chance and ordered them, knowing they could be garbage. Thankfully, that was not the case. These are sticky enough to stay in place, and to even be re-positioned a few times, but not so sticky as to leave a residue behind or tear the page they're stuck to when removed. The darkest color (a sort of blue) works best, I think, with a white gel pen, but black ink is also fine (although I find anything smaller than 0.5 to be more difficult to read). These are paper, so no worries about which pens will write on them and which will not. Pen or pencil should work fine, and they are not too thin. I've even used a couple of fountain pens with no issues, but I imagine a bolder nib would cause ink to bleed through and feather. They feel very much like the name brand ones, and perform similarly.
