THE MAT IS A DANGEROUS TRIPPING HAZARD

This chair mat surface is extremely soft and does not hold up when a chair is placed on top. The mat is made from very cheap materials because whenever a chair is moved across, the mat will bunch up on its own, which is a dangerous tripping hazard. When the mat is unboxed, you will need to place it on a flat surface with heavy weights to help flatten it out. After placing it under weights for a few days, the mat became flat and was placed on a wooden floor under my desk. The mat started to roll and bunch up on its own on the first day of using it. I managed to try and flatten it again repeatedly, but it still continued to have the same problem. I also contacted the seller regarding this hazardous issue, but that was addressed poorly because nothing got resolved. The size of this mat is perfect because it covers a big space in my home office and looks great until you move around on the chair. Overall, based on my user experience of owning and using this for a couple of weeks, I do not recommend this chair mat. It's a tripping hazard (See Photos) and not worth purchasing. Read more

I love this mat. The wheels of the desk chair I use for sewing, were making dents in the carpeting of my sewing/ .guest room floor. This mat is heavy enough and has little spikes on the bottom that grip the carpet but won't rip or tear it. It stays in place and protects the carpet completely. When company comes, I roll it up and vacuum the area it was, to blend the carpet fibers back into place. It's clear and flexible and looks great. Read more
