Uodate: after using nearly half the bag in experimenting with different water and different temperature, you must use warm distilled water. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and use immediately when you see the dye release start on top. I would recommend leaving it on or at least two hours unless you want a lighter color. After many different experiments, this was the only way that the guy would release and adhere to my hair. There were a couple times the dye would release, but it would not adhere to my hair. Increased to 3 stars because it finally worked but it was hassle & I had to walk around with only half my hair reddish orange like a pumpkin for a bit…. Original: Absolutely useless. Did a dye release test & it’s not bluish like indigo should be, it’s green. Waste of money. Read more
