There is plenty of cotton on the swab and I love the storage box. It is not typical for swabs to come with the box. This one is hard plastic and will hold up so that I can easily purchase refills moving forward. All of the swabs included fit in the storage box making it easier to store and reducing clutter. 6 inch swabs are hard to find in local stores or pharmacies. These have perfect, beautiful sticks and are nicely packaged. Their information touts them for cleaning things, like firearms. I did not see anything about medical use, since I wanted nasal swabs, but they work that way, and I saw some in a box that looked like theirs on a windowsill by my doctor's desk.
