This chair is a value buy, so don't expect it to be as rock solid as you would expect for a chair rated at 550 pounds. First, assembly took two hours although there are a few number of parts. This is because lining up screws through pleather into sunk bases is extraordinarily hard. I learned to expose the sunk bases through the pleather before attempting to insert the screws in the seat and back. My second assembly only took 1 1/2 hours. Attaching the back is the hardest part. Cushioning is adequate. The stitching on the chair is gold in color. Good lumbar support. It's not as stable as I would like. The arm rests are too short and the entire back is supported by only four screws. I've had sturdier chairs before for less money. The assembly manual has many funny stereotypical typos you'd find in a chair made in China. Read more

My husband was constantly complaining about our old chairs being too small and uncomfortable. The cushions were so thin it felt like sitting on a slab of metal. Enough was enough—I had to get him a bigger chair with proper padding. I went with this one, and after it arrived, my husband spent about an hour assembling it (following the instructions, of course). We checked everything—the armrests, seat cushion, base, and backrest—all solid. The cushion is thick and super comfortable. The armrests and backrest are fully adjustable, and the base is solid—no wobbling or annoying squeaks when you sit down. The best part? The lumbar support has an adjustable air cushion. If the backrest doesn’t quite fit your posture, just pump it up for perfect support. The wheels are another smart design—they’re hollow, so they won’t trap hair like regular office chair wheels. The back rest, seat, and one of the arm rest cushions are smashed down and flat. You can see how bumpy they are in the pictures. They have been unboxed for about an hour now and still haven't regained their original shape. I'll update this if they actually regain shape. Honestly, it feels like the cushion is completely missing in the smashed area of the back and seat cushions versus it needing to expand from being tightly packed. The holes drilled on the back and seat cushions to attach the arms are not aligned properly and you can see small tears in the fabric. The size of the chair seems adequate for my 6'2, 350lb teenage son. The lumbar support pump system seems to work. I tried pumping it up to see if it would fix the smashed area of the cushion. The back rest plushed up but the area that is flat in the picture still stayed flat. The wheels and bottom base seems sturdy. The instructions aren't that good but since there aren't too many parts it was that bad putting it together. I wouldn't buy this product again. I would spend the extra money to buy something better quality. If the seat and back rest don't regain shape after a couple days I will probably return this since I paid $120. Read more
