LIGHTWEIGHT
I use this to hang my out of season shirts and sports jackets, and the lower part is perfect for placing storage boxes with items that need mothballs or cedar chips over the summer. It is sturdy enough for the above, but it is nowhere as robust as similars used in hotels. It seems flimsy because the vertical poles are made of three pieces lightweight tubing, and the top and bottoms pieces of the same tubing. However, once I put some weight on it, it felt sturdy enough. I wouldn't use it to store my entire winter wardrobe, but for shirts and sports jackets it is fine. NOTE: the vertical poles have to be assembled with the holes facing inwards and the bottom bracket with the holes facing downwards. Use your own 13mm wrench on the cap nuts because the supplied one is not very good at staying on the cap nut. Read more
Worked well
I have a understairs closet that we turned into a coat closet. But the slant of the ceiling prohibits taller hangers. I bought this. It is nice and sturdy. I found it easy to assemble. I put it in the closet but too tall. How, I simply removed the top pole and now it works great. Read more
Very Cheap and Flimsy-Looking
We are not sure this will get the job done. The extending poles on either side already droop when nothing is hanging on them, so how will they be sturdy enough to hold clothes? This feels like dollar store quality, not something worth the $30 price tag we paid. We want to love this, but we just can’t. Read more
