Overall, do they work yes but in my opinion, they are really only good for travel use when you do not want to carry an electric trimmer. They seem sharp as I only had one instance where I pulled a nose hair using these. I am not sure if this would be something I would buy again as I do not travel often and when I do, I normally can bring my electric trimmer for those emergencies when I need to trim up. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product These are excellent for portable use and are something I keep in my travel bag. They’re also perfectly fine for home use as a light maintenance tool. They’re very compact, lightweight, and convenient, which is really their main strength. They’re not as durable or as effective as higher-end, automated options like electric nose hair trimmers, so if you want fast, thorough trimming, those will still do a better job. That said, for what these are designed to be—simple, manual, safe trimmers—they work extremely well. They remove hair without pulling when used correctly and feel very low-risk. For the price, size, and convenience, these are a great value. Just make sure to clean them after use — which is pretty much stating the obvious. Read more

Short version: Yes, I recommend these nose hair trimmers, if you don't mind the occasional "ouch" while using. It is certainly easier than pushing a rechargeable rotating trimmer up your nose. Over the years, I have had several battery-powered nose hair trimmers that I seldom used. It was just easier and more convenient to use scissors, opening them slightly and moving them front/back/side/other side to trap, then snip the nose hair. It wasn't 100%, and I did poke myself with the scissors, but at least I could trim the hairs that stuck out. This manual trimmer is easier to use. Inserting it into a nostril, I can move it around while rotating it, and snip the hairs more easily and evenly than with scissors. Occasionally it touches the skin or tugs a hair, but the result is better than the brute force scissors assault. With five of them, I have one in the bathroom, one in the travel kit, one in my desk drawer, and two spares. I do not know how long these may work before needing replacement, but for the cheap cost for five of them, I can just keep a backup set. So yes, I can recommend these as an affordable nostril hair solution. Read more
I found this to be effective enough for travel, and it is definitely much smaller and lighter than my battery powered rotary nose, hair trimmer, however, for home use, I think that the battery powered rotary trimmer works better and is easier to use. The razor does cut the nose hairs, but I found that I was most effective, if I used a magnifying mirror so I could get a good view of what I was doing. Also, I found that it was effective to use the soft brush side to help comb the nose hairs and get them lined up, before actually trying to trim them with the razor head. Comes in a nice travel case and has clear and effective instructions. Cotton swab shown in the photos is for scale to convey the size of the trimmers. Read more

This nose hair cutter arrived in surprisingly nice packaging and feels solid in the hand. It’s simple to use and trims cleanly without tugging. One side has small bristles built in, which makes cleaning quick and convenient. Great little tool that does exactly what it should with no fuss. Read more
