This is a promising product. Seems to work well so far. I think it's a good value for what you get. While there isn't all that much in each container (in the sense that the powder compact doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the container), the quantity provided will still last you a good long while. And the container needs to be the size it is in order for you to like handle it with decent ease. And they were thoughtful in putting the little hanging handle-like ribbon thing on the top, which helps you pull it open easily without hurting your hands or fingernails. I like that there is a mirror in the top! I was confused at first, though, in that the container says there's a sponge inside and I thought there wasn't in mine because I was looking for it in the top lid/mirrored area. But it is "hidden" in the bottom lower lid-like place of the container. Silly me. The sponge is indeed there if you take all the clear plastic sealer/wrap stuff off & look fully. Anyway, the brushes that come with it are great, so maybe you don't need the sponge all the time or ever. But it's probably more convenient to carry the sponge in the compact/jar than a brush. But if you put it on well at home, maybe you won't be taking the jar & such with you anyway. Read more

This root cover-up powder works fine for quick touch‑ups, but it wasn’t exactly what I expected. The compact itself is easy to use and the powder does help hide gray roots and thinning spots in a pinch. It blends in pretty naturally once applied. That said, the product listing doesn’t make it super clear what you’re getting, and it’s definitely more of a temporary cosmetic fix than a long‑lasting solution. It works, but it’s not as pigmented or as buildable as I hoped. Good for light coverage or quick touch‑ups, but not a miracle worker. I have dark brown hair and I have this set in both dark brown and black. The dark brown is not dark enough, and the black is slightly too dark. However, the black matches my dark brown hair better than the dark brown color. Bonus- it doubles as an eyeliner. Read more

I had this root cover up powder for quick fixes between hair appointments, not expecting magic, just a little help. It does cover gray roots and thinning spots decently at first, especially if you are rushing out the door. Application is easy, and the compact size is convenient to toss in a bag. That said, the color payoff can look a bit flat under bright light, and it transfers more easily than I hoped if you touch your hair or sweat. Longevity is hit or miss, and I found myself reapplying by mid day. It works for emergencies, but it is not a long term solution. Read more

This set works surprisingly well for filling in sparse spots and refreshing roots between color appointments. The powder goes on smoothly, blends easily, and doesn’t leave a chalky look. It holds up through a full day without smudging, but still washes out without any effort. The compact size makes it easy to toss in a bag for touch‑ups. A useful, no‑fuss option if you want discreet coverage that actually looks natural. Read more

Lockmio Root Cover Up Hairline Powder This Lockmio root cover-up powder is a matte black and works well for covering roots, thinning areas, receding hairlines, part lines, and even brows or lash lines. I ordered to use on my lash line. Once applied, it stays put on the skin and doesn't run with water. Soap or shampoo is needed to fully remove it, which is reassuring if you get caught in the rain. That said, excess powder can rub off onto towels or fabrics right after application and may stain, so care is needed. Being a loose powder, it can also get messy around the container if not wiped clean after each use. The listing mentioned hair fibers. I did not observe actual hair fibers, so I don’t know what it was referring to. Overall, it has a few quirks but performs well and is a good value for the price. Read more

The powder is super easy to apply and stays put all day without smudging or transferring. I love that it looks natural, even up close. It’s great for quick touch-ups between salon visits and works well for covering small bald spots too. Read more

This 5PCS Root Cover Up Powder (root touch up hair color for gray coverage) is convenient for quick gray fixes between salon visits. The five powders give you options or backups, and it covers small root patches or hairline grays nicely with a natural blend when applied lightly with the applicator or a brush. It works fast on contact and holds up for light daily wear. However, it bleeds and comes off easily on your fingers when you touch your hair, and it transfers noticeably to towels or pillowcases if you rub against them. Washes out completely with shampoo. Best for spot touch-ups on the go, not full coverage. Affordable and effective for minor grays if you're careful not to handle the treated areas too much. Read more
