These are a high quality Automated light.They are rechargeable the charge in my closets.Lasts almost a month... I also went back and bought another set. I love these lights and recommend anyone to get them. They we're a perfect fit for my project. My mother had a hard time seeing the steps especially at night. Now she'll be able to see them more with ease. I love that I can put it on different settings for brightness, that it's magnetic, that I can place them anywhere, that I can recharge them and let's you know when it's done charging (with a green light). And the price was reasonable for a 6 pack. The only thing I don't like is that I can only charge 3 lights at one time instead of all 6 that came in the pack. But other than that, they work great! Charged quickly and then I was able to place them where I wanted it and the motion sensing works really well I needed the light for a storage space and I ended up using five of these and it lit the space well and I love that I don’t have to physically turn on the light besides the first time now they turn on automatically as soon as I open the door and move and they stay on as long as I’m moving around and turns off soon after I leave so it gives me peace of mind. These lights are either off or work only in motion detector mode. They will not turn on if the room has a light source. As far as I can tell there is no option to override the motion detector mode and have the lights stay on, which basically means they are useless if you want to use them for decor to highlight an object. These lights seem to be best for areas that have no wired light source such as closets or rooms you might want to enter with out turning on the overhead light. I have a laundry room that is more of a passage way from garage into the house than a true room. There is of course an overhead light, but unless I have it turned on the laundry room is pitch black if I come in thru garage as it does not have a window. There is a switch by door but if my hands are full not always convenient to turn on. These lights seem to add just enough light to see to walk thru the room if light is off and I think will be useful in this location.. I could also see them being useful in a room such as a babies if you wanted to check on them without turning on overhead light or bathroom at night, etc. Other than that I think they are primarily useful for closets, cabinet interiors or drawers. The lights do not have a remote. I like the fact that the lights are narrow enough to fit under most cabinet overhangs without being visible, but the lack of an always on mode makes them of no use for esthetic purposes. Plus they don’t even work as motion detector lights if other bright lights are on. For that reason I have given them a 4. I guess I should have read the description more carefully as I guess I thought the two modes were on and motion. Not motion and off. I do like the base that allows you to charge 3 lights as same time, but since purchased 6 it would be nice if it was also for six. The lights seem to be magnetic, but unless you are putting them on a metal surface it is necessary to use the small adhesive magnets. Unfortunately they provided only 7, which means there is only one for the middle of each light when there really should be two for each light for stability. Ease of installation is super easy. Color and look of lights is fine and you can control brightness. The quality appears ok, but since just received I have no idea how long they will last or hold up. Bottom line is these lights are basically useful only for dark spaces without other lights that are on or bright natural light. They are not useful for any purpose where you want the light to remain on to add light for decorative purposes. Read more

These are bright and a good buy but I've used them more in my closet than outside, they need recharging atleast once a week for the ones outside. But the ones in my closet maybe once a month or every 3 weeks they would need recharging Read more
I love these little lights, but the battery life sucks! I’m using them around my house in the halls and closets and I have to recharge them about once a week. If the batteries were better, I would give these lights a five star. Read more
Awesome product. Bought them on a lightening deal to place in the cabinet under my sink. No wiring there but needed a light to see in that dark spot. These are motion censored and when Inopen my cabinet door it lights up so I can find what I am looking for. I love this product! Read more
