Got a large batch of these (36), enough for 12 interior doors, part of a sweeping repaint project and wanted all new hardware to go with the fresh paint. Very happy with the results. Got nice brushed nickel. They were packed very neatly and damage-free. They're made of quality materials, very satisfied. NOTE: I didn't scan down the reviews before buying them about the issue with it being VERY difficult to remove the pin, and yes, it's true, that pin's in there and resists coming out. However, I believe it's like that to seal out contaminants to keep them clean inside the hinge, to last longer, quieter. And they "do" come out, but it's just difficult, and you may want to try to avoid needing to if you can. Fortunately, I was able to manage around it; for example, I just hung the door without removing pins, by just holding up the door and screwing 'em in. I also found other solutions for doors that I used to have on-the-hinge doorstops (which I never really liked those anyway) to not remove the pins. I would have given them 9/10 stars, but they're otherwise too good to give 4/5 just because of the "sealed pins", when they do serve another beneficial purpose. I wanted to make sure to come back to review this as I was hesitant at first to get these as some customers said that the pin was extremely hard to remove.. I found that to not be the case and is just about as easy to remove as any other door hinges I have in the house. I tend to use a hammer + screwdriver combo and it worked quite well on this. For the money, these look just fine as a replacement for our hinges that were significantly outdated/discolored/painted over. The hinges matched what I had previously installed almost exactly and had no issue getting the new screws in. I appreciate them including 3" screws as well along with the standard hinge screws to get into the stud. These don't at all seem less durable than top brands you'd find in hardware stores. The one small thing is that the coating is a little blotchy/non-uniform, however I don't expect people to be obsessively examining my hinges. Pretty satisfied with this purchase, I've already replaced 6 doors worth of hinges. Read more
