these are a good value and put out a lot of light, however, i have some similar philips bulbs with a 95 CRI and the quality of light is noticeably better. i these have a lower CRI - they have somewhat of the "moon light" effect. they are fine to use in closets or storage rooms, but i wouldn't want them in normal living space. updated 2/16 the seller offered a full refund without any request on my part. my review doesn't change, but i will give one more star for their customer service. it does say in their product description "CRI 80+" but i think you will want a CRI more like 90 or 95 for nice light quality/good color rendering.
