Years ago I found a great, though expensive, set of laundry bags at BBB. Of course they stopped carrying them long ago, and I was never able to find them elsewhere. They held together better than every replacement I have bought since, but alas, the end has finally come. I am always torn over which reviews to trust on most items, and especially with a lot of these types of products. Everyone has a different standard of quality and materials used. My preferred mesh has been really hard to find, and it was always the best at holding up to vigorous use in hot temperatures, both washed and dried. A lot of replacements I have used over the years cannot hold up to either, and most of my garments are laundered with hot water. Many other bags have to be hang dried like my delicate items. How is that useful? When I saw this set, I liked the size of the bags, as well as the quantity for the price, but mostly that it could withstand use in both the wash and dry cycle. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised to find that these had a higher quality mesh than other replacements I have tried. It was refreshing to have several larger bags once more, as many replacements have shrunk to half their size in time. I generally prefer a zipper that does not need to be locked in place in order to withstand a cycle, but I find that these loops are generally easy to use. I have tried similar ones in the past, and never had any open during use, so I was happy to try these ones out. The first thing that I noticed upon opening these bags, is how difficult they are to unzip. Closing is a breeze! As soon as you go to pull it open, you are immediately faced with great resistance. The zipper suddenly feels choppy and sticks. I tried each and every bag and found them all to be exactly the same in this way. I have washed several loads of laundry with these, and while the quality of the material has stood up well to my testing, the zippers have remained a bit stubborn in their willingness to cooperate. I have always managed to open these bags, but never once without difficulty. It makes the use of the loops more challenging, as you cannot stop it from sticking from the moment you attempt to reverse the direction. I will absolutely use these bags for as long as they happen to survive. I would like to see the hardware upgraded for a smoother glide. I've seen cheaper and more expensive sets than this, but so far the material does seem to shine above many others. Only time will tell whether these will really hold up. Read more

These mesh laundry bags work like a charm.
