A good, versatile “workhorse" magnet for modeling

I picked up these cube magnets for my model railroad and scale modeling projects I do in Z scale and N scale. and they've quickly become my go-to "workhorse" magnets. The cube shape is super useful, and they have a good amount of strength for all sorts of tasks, from holding parts together while glue dries to magnetizing building sections on my layout so I can access the interiors. One primary use for me is using them for small structures when Im building them. I use a magnetic metal sheet and with these square magnets I can hold parts together while I’m gluing and have it be perfectly square. They are very small, so read the description. I have used 5x5, 8x8 and 10x10 mm. Important for precision work is that they might not be the exact size advertised. It's not a huge deal for general use, but if you're want erfect press-fit, definitely measure one with your calipers first. Overall, I'm happy with them.
