LOVE THIS DESK. I wanted something sturdier than I had. The desk top is ONE PIECE. That was a big thing for me. My previous desk felt flimsy connected by two pieces this one is so solid I love it. The colors are great. Another reason I wanted an L and went for this one is bc it has the stationary side. I wanted a small desk aquarium there. This is absolutely perfect. I’ve got a nice 10 gallon, I am starting a nem tank, and the desk is strong enough to hold it. Overall super happy and worth the money. Putting it together is a two man job for sure. This desk has been a game changer for me. It was a bit more than I’d normally spend on myself but so worth it. I’ve deducted one star because of the placement of the control panel, which I definitely think could use some rework. The assembly of the desk did take an entire evening with two people- probably 4-5 hours. There’s just a lot of parts; we aren’t dumb and we do a lot of DIY, so just have the time and space ready when you do this. I checked for all pieces prior to starting assembly; nothing was missing and it was all well packed. I believe it did come with one of the drawer glides slightly damaged, and the seller credited me for it. I ended up putting in soft close glides in place of all of them. I do think that this should have soft close glides by default and not the cheap ones anyway; soft close would match the overall style and quality for this piece and price. Still, if you choose to upgrade them, soft close glides will fit (very tightly). I also ended up changing the handles that came with this. The ones that came with it felt cheap and were pretty small. I had replacements on hand but the drill holes are standard sizes and could be easily purchased separately. My biggest gripe is the placement of the control panel. The control panel is on the left front while the cable hole and outlets are on the right back. It’s been incredibly difficult to run the power cord neatly to the other side of the desk in order to use the sit/stand functionality. The power cord is also SUPER short and the seller doesn’t offer anything longer. I have basically ended up running multiple extension cords all throughout this thing just to make sure everything can turn on. Thr desktop does sit low you can’t have a “basket” for cords- great for short people, bad for cord management! I’ve also pinched my fingers a few times when holding the down button because the desktop and control panel sit so close to the left cabinet. I seemingly can’t get any power block to stick to the underside of the desk, and when I finally think I’ve achieved it, I risk the desktop itself crushing my cables. I am still battling this nearly a year after initial set up. I don’t feel this design choice is optimal. I don’t think there is memory settings either, which is an easy miss given that so many other desks offer it. Maybe I just haven’t figured that out yet. I don’t care enough but if it’s there, it’s not obvious. Again, easy miss on the design/functionality. All in all though, I do love this. I just wish the functional aspect was 10%-15% more thought out than it is. Read more

This is a nice desk for the price. I am 5'7" and it's way too short for me. when I'm working in the space that doesn't have the sit/stand unit, my knees hit the edge of the desk. The photo is deceiving because it looks like you have ample workspace between the edge of the desk and where the drawers are, not the case. The color is nice and the quality is ok but if you're looking for something that will hold up for many years, probably not this desk. Read more

A few of the threaded inserts came out but we were able to just glue them back in, let them dry and continue building. Assembly was easy. One piece was numbered wrong but we figured it out with the pictures on the instructions pretty easily. We love the look and it’s as pictured. The wood feels heavy and not too cheap. Read more
