This bottle is perfect for what I use it for! I work for the Railroad so I am very hard on my things and they need to last. This is extremely sturdy and made with high-quality durable parts. I have only used it for cold drinks because I don’t need any type of hot drink for 12 hours, but it does keep very cold and keeps ice floating around up to 48 hours without sweating or building condensation. Despite how heavy and awkward it can get when you are putting 128 ounces of fluid into it on top of its already solid construction, I find it very easy to carry, move, and drink from. The included flip top handle is great and can be adjusted up or down. The handles on the side are also great for carrying it and if you are not wanting to use them, they fold into the bottle itself. I think having both options for a straw and for a chug cap is an awesome feature that I didn’t realize the handiness of before I bought it. It has been perfect for filling up at home and especially at the gas station or wherever you get your drinks from. I believe out of every bottle I researched to buy, which was quite a few, the opening on this one was the widest allowing you to add many different types of ice or fill it using different types of spouts and machines at the gas station. Adding to that, so far the height has been just right. You can slide it under spouts or ice machines without having to tip it at an awkward angle. If you make sure you are properly tightening the top, the cap, and pushing the straw all the way down then you will have zero leakage at all. You can flip it around, roll it around in the car, or simply hold it upside down and it does not leak a drop. I searched for quite a while for a water bottle that met all of my needs and had all the features I wanted. I liked quite a few, but they all had something that I would’ve had to settle for or didn’t like. This one includes everything that I was wanting plus it is extremely affordable for all that it does. It is 1/2 up to even 1/4 the price of other insulated gallon jugs that do not have the same features. Finally, their customer service is responsive and cares about the customer. I left an email with pictures and videos on a Friday because I thought my jug was leaking. They responded within a day or two, which was still over the weekend, and made a detailed markup of my pictures respectfully showing me that I was more than likely using it incorrectly and causing the leaks. As a larger/stronger guy, this isn't a problem for me, but my girlfriend is not a fan of grabbing it if I am loaded down with groceries and whatnot. Great gallon for my husband to take to work. Easy to clean the bottle but can be a little tricky on the lid as he works with dirt and trees so mud sometimes dries and sticks in the little crevices. keeps the water cold all day while he is at work and is leak resistant as long as everything is closed well. Great cup. Bought as a gift for my bf. He uses it everyday and for work. Easy to clean, nice to have 2 different handle styles to carry. When dropped doesn't spill open or ding up the outside. And he has dropped it a few times already. Also the first cup to say up to 48 hrs of keeping cold and actually do it.. he had ice in his cup for 3 days before it melted and we live in fl. I've had this jug for 2 months and I have to say I really like the design. I haven't used ice in it to tell how long it keeps. But the cold water i put in it at the beginning of the day seems to stay cold. Two options of straw or plug for drinking is nice. I mostly use the straw due to convenience of not lifting when full. The handle seems to be nice construction, very sturdy and hasn't loosened up or bent at all in its travel. I use it everyday at work on construction site. I don't run out of water anymore due to the capacity. I also like the folding handle on the side. Super design in my opinion. The straw did start to have an issue of not sealing correctly, but speaking with PowCan directly about it has been promising. They have been in good communication with me so far, and have suggested that a solution should be available. Read more
