One could go crazy trying to pick just the right humidifier. I settled on something that was less than $100 (I needed at least 3 so price was important), that would hold enough volume to work for at least 24 hrs, with humidity sensors and removable container (with a handle!) that could be easily carried from the sink back to the rooms. This product met all the criteria and it works great. Hot mist and essential oils are a plus but I just need my condo to be humid so cold mist is what I go for. The mist is nice and quiet, I can feel the difference in air humidity for sure. The water tank measure is useless - The unit is dark so the little window in the front is almost black both above and below water level so it’s impossible to see but a nice little red light will come on once the unit is out of water. Please read the instructions- they explain the difference between setting mist level and setting target humidity level. If you use humidity as your target then the mist level will be set and fixed to zero which basically means “auto”. If you start pressing the misting intensity button, you just turned off target humidity setting and now the unit is just misting at the desired strength. Fine by me but confusing at first. Also, these work excellent in large but closed rooms (6 liters gets used up in a little over 24 hours for me so I have to refill almost every day). But my living room, which opens up to hallway/kitchen/bathroom areas, just never gets that humid (I can never achieve humidity targets). So understand that this device is designed for rooms with contained air and not open areas, even if they meet square footage specifications. I highly recommend these for anyone who wants their place to be a lot more cozy in winter! The units are nice looking and really blend into the decor (they don’t have a look of an appliance like some of the square shaped alternatives), so adding 3 to my condo didn’t change the optics but the air is wonderful now! Great product. We use it daily on cold dry days and in bedroom at night. Quiet operation. You can program the desired humidity %. Well dispersed humidity. 24 hr timer and auto shut off, sleep function which dims digital display. Easy to clean, follow manufacturers directions. Ordered another one for downstairs. Quiet, easy to use, and not too heavy (even when full). I have this in my bedroom, there is minimal sound (less than a heater or ac), the mist is not over powering and not weak either (not fogging the room up), I would recommend 😀 Read more

Started with one, now we have three! Not because they weren’t covering space, but because they covered the space so well we kept buying them for different rooms. I use one for my plants to keep them humid and happy over the dry Midwestern winter months. We have one in the living room where we spend a lot of time, and one for our bedroom. We have had no issues with cleaning it, smells, or mold. They stored well over the summer and were ready to be filled when the weather got drier. We run them pretty much 24/7. I love the essential oil option and put peppermint, tea tree, and eucalyptus in when my family is sick. We do have to be careful because some essential oils are harmful to animals, so make sure you check! The ones I used are, so we would only run them in the bedrooms and kept pets out! But this winter I’m planning on getting pet-friendly ones just to help with air purification (lemon) and antibacterial properties. Read more

I just got this recently so my review may change but my bf helped set it up so I assume to assembly of reinstalling the filters and such were quite easy. Everything is already installed you just have to follow the directions. I’ve already turned the mister on although I don’t have any pictures but it works great and it’s VERY quiet. It also stayed on for over 6+ hours continuously. I will say if you put it on the ground or on a table, make sure you have something under it because the mist will make your floor slippery! I haven’t cleaned it yet but I’m sure that will be easy too. Overall I do like it and I’m excited to use it for my tropical plants. Read more
