Named it Goose, as single-syllable words are best, and she absolutely loves it. With her tiny mouth and it arriving only today, she’s still working at just where to grab to carry? The tail, a foot and firm gobblers work so far. It’s quite supple, while not being flimsy. So, she may still figure things out. Only the body squeaks. There’s a tube in the neck. So, sound exits the open mouth — which fascinates her. It’ll stand on its own two feet upright, too; something new, being eye-level — also fascinating. An easy shake and toss, holding it my the head produces the wonderfully different gobbling sound that I bought it for. It wasn’t disappointing…. Maybe you’ll be delighted, too? Read more

My dogs went crazy with this! The sound had them all excited that they chased me around the house wanting it. 😂 I only ordered one and when I saw they both desperately wanted it at the same time. The smart things to do was to order another one! so they each It's still holding up being played with by both a mini Aussie and Yorkie. My only problem is that they want to take it outside and I like to keep it as an indoor toy since we have a neighbor dog that visits on a regular basis and toys disappeared. Lol Read more

The media could not be loaded. I bought this on a whim for my rat terrier, Rusty. He has torn up most ‘chew’ toys. So I was giving him about an hour, tops, with this. Secretly, I was just hoping to annoy my hubby with the sound. But to my surprise and Rusty’s delight/frustration, this s big hit. The reason why? Bcause it’s the same size and softness as a rat or a small squirrel. Instinctively he doesn’t gnaw on it. He shakes it and bites it. Growls while he does. And throws it in the air. And then he waits a moment, staring at it to see if it’s dead. Then he pounced on it only to find it lives still!! So much fun for him and us Read more

Actually had to buy a few extras as emergency backups. Soft squeaky toy makes a "grunt squawk" sound. Very throwable. Soft won't harm furniture or surfaces. My 20lb puppy loves it, its her #1 toy! Read more

My parents found this toy at a Meijer in OH when my dog was a puppy and he LOVED it. It makes a gobbling nose when shook (TBH we all thought it was a turkey not a chicken) that he goes nuts for. The great thing (at least about the Meijer one, which I believe is identical) is that even when the head fell off and there were holes in the feet, it kept making its gobbling noise. I have been looking for a replacement for about 2 years. I bought two so we won't be without one for a long time again. For reference, my papillon is ~5.5 lbs and this toy is a great fetch size for him - its also easy for him to get to make sound because the sound comes from shaking and bouncing as well as squeezing, and because it is so low stiffness. He has trouble getting many traditional squeakers to squeak because he is so small and his jaw isn't as strong as a bigger dog's. It is a soft latex, so for destructive chewers this won't last long at all. Read more

It makes a horribly obnoxious sound. My dog was a little cautious with it in the beginning, but now he loves it. He plays with it all the time. I put up with the sound because it makes him happy! Read more
