As a family of five having a dining room and also being able to save space it's very important since the table is skinny it is the perfect size even with the leaf in it. With the leaf we can fit six comfortably even without the leaf as well but a little tighter on the sides so far would be better for that. Overall a great purchase and it was super easy to assemble. We recently moved and needed an expandable table - this one did the trick! It was easy to assemble and we love the fact that the table extension is stored within the table. In our house with little space, that was a huge plus. The wood is a nice warm wood and the table looks much more expensive that it was. Read more

The top is very pretty, it's a nice sleek modern looking table. However, it's built more like a card table than a dining room table. As such it seems a bit expensive for what you get. That's not to say it's not heavy duty. The table overall is pretty heavy, it's probably 75 pounds assembled. But for example, the legs bolt directly into the bottom. My grandfather who was a carpenter would scoff at designing a table like that. Normally table legs are braced against the corners for more support. After all, tables take abuse from all directions - heavy things are put on top, the sides are bumped by people passing by, and the legs are bumped by chairs and people's legs/feet. So on this table you will have to tighten these periodically or they will get wobbly. The sliding mechanism is very clever. They basically use drawer pulls, which makes it a very smooth operation. And the leaf is hidden in the middle, you don't have to store it separately. However, the latch to lock the table top into place is a tiny clasp - again, reminds me of a folding card table. So it's a nice sleek modern table, and the leaf is neat, but they made some strange design choices. Read more

The cheap, particle board top of this table will never last. The metal base is sturdy and will support a solid wood table top and that’s what I’d needed here. The laminate, particle board table top arrived damaged in several areas. I’m a wood worker and I’ve decided to keep the table for its base and legs and I’ll make a solid wood table top for it. I’m going to make the table top slightly bigger - 78” X 35” wide. Read more

This table showed up and works fine, but the table is damaged in quite a few spots. I guess that what I have come to expect with Amazon these days. Read more

Table was easy to put together. It is narrow and perfect for our small kitchen but still big enough to host a dinner. Love how the extra leaf folds away inside. Read more
